Having gained a first class degree from the Nottingham Trent University in 2005, I went on to exhibit my work at UNDU and New Designers. From this I won the SunCorp Portfolio Award where I was awarded a three week placement with SunCorp in collaboration with The Brewery Design.

With four years industrial design experience I have worked for three companies to date, The Brewery Design, Alloy and Touch Design. Within these I have worked with numerous clients such as SunCorp, Proctor & Gamble, BT, Barilla and Huawei to name a few. Client Projects have included an innovative hair removal system, a new baby monitoring device, structural packaging for the dairy market, chocolate innovation and several telecoms based devices.

I work with a sensorial approach to any design brief, thinking of the consumer and their needs, ensuring the product not only looks good and works efficiently, but engages with the consumer to encourage brand loyalty and to build a relationship with the product.

With manufacturing experience and knowledge, I can also work effectively in designing a product that is economically viable and suitable for manufacture. I am an ambitious, self-motivated person who loves to be challenged and thrives on learning. I work hard to be effective within a team and independently and am always on hand to help wherever needed.
